Beta service terms

Draft for review · 16 September 2026. These product terms have not been legally reviewed. The operator’s legal identity, public contact, applicable-law provisions and final refund policy still need confirmation before wider launch.

What the service does

Basecamp helps a household turn a home-buying brief into proposed search areas and a shortlist. AI-generated research and reviews may be incomplete, stale or wrong. You approve a proposed search before scans begin. Verify property availability, title, inspections, financing, taxes, accessibility, insurance, travel estimates and local rules independently.

Basecamp is a research tool, not a real-estate agent, broker, appraiser, legal adviser or financial adviser. A score or recommendation is not a guarantee of suitability, value, legality or investment return. Do not use protected personal characteristics to discriminate in housing decisions.

Household access

Keep your sign-in secure and invite only people you want to share your household’s briefs, plans and decisions with. Owners manage invitations, paid work and billing. Members can review and save homes. Do not submit another person’s sensitive information without appropriate permission or attempt to access another household’s records.

Subscription and allowances

The current household plan is $19 USD per month, billed through Stripe. Review the total and renewal terms shown at checkout. The shared monthly allowance is 200 review attempts, two full planning sessions and eight scan starts. An attempt can consume an allowance even if a provider fails; there are no automatic overage charges and unused allowances do not roll over.

Manage renewal through Plan and billing. A cancellation scheduled for the end of the paid period keeps access until that period ends. A failed payment or expired entitlement can pause new paid work. Existing results remain readable. Deletion requests do not cancel subscriptions. Contact support about billing errors or refund requests; no automatic refund entitlement beyond applicable rights is promised by this draft.

Beta availability and acceptable use

Features and limits may change as the beta develops. We may pause work for capacity, provider failure, safety or abuse. Do not share credentials, bypass usage limits, send malicious content, or resell third-party listing content contrary to its source terms. There is no uptime or response-time guarantee during beta.

Your information and requests

Only submit information you are entitled to use. The privacy draft describes current data use and outstanding provider-retention questions. Help and your data provides exports and a reviewed deletion-request process. Nothing here is intended to remove rights that applicable law gives you.
